中外合作办学是我国坚持教育对外开放的主要形式,也是中国教育现代化和国际化的重要载体之一。中外合作办学学科也从社科领域发展到理工科的全面合作,办学层次从本科教育向研究生教育拓展。目前中外合作办学亟须扎根“四个面向”,增质提效更好为建设世界一流大学的学科群做贡献。本报告参照学科评估指标,通过分析现有中外合作办学机构和项目的师资质量、支撑平台、科学研究水平和社会服务等指标,聚焦中外合作办学中高水平的研究生教育和其对“双一流”改革进程中学科发展的贡献,客观呈现中外合作办学学科发展水平、国际化人才培养模式与推动教育体制机制改革的概况和发展趋势,以及新发展格局下的主要挑战和发展机遇。
<<Chinese-foreign cooperation(Joint Institute)in trans-national education is not only the main format of China’s commitment to the sustainable opening of education to the world,but also one of the important proves of China’s educational modernization and internationalization. The discipline of Chinese-foreign cooperation in joint institutes or programmes has also developed from the field of social sciences to the comprehensive cooperation of science and engineering,and the programme level of joint institutes has expanded from undergraduate education to postgraduate education. At present,Chinese-foreign cooperation in joint institutes(programmes)urgently needs to face to the “four aspects” principle,improve quality and efficiency,and make better contributions to the construction of disciplinary system of world-class universities. With reference to the discipline evaluation indicators,this report objectively presents the discipline development level of Chinese joint institutes(programmes)by analyzing their quality of faculty,supportive platform,scientific research level and social services,focus on the high-level post-graduate education in these joint institutes and its contribution to the development of the “double first-class” reform process. Moreover,the report points out the necessity of promoting mechanism of international talent education model,research innovation,as well as the novel challenges and opportunities in accordance with joint institute development in China.
