This paper analyzes the development background and current situation of industry of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep cooperation Zone. Then researchs the policy environment，problems opportunities and challenges in the integrated development of the cultural tourism industry in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone and puts forward suggestions for action. During the study，we also collected information on Macao residents’ awareness and recognition of the Hengqin District through questionnaires and interviews. However，there are still problems such as little understanding，low awareness，the short average length of visit，and insufficient average consumption. The study suggests that the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone can enhance the exhibition industry by extending the Zhuhai Airshow to the Hengqin Deep Cooperation Zone to enrich the content and form of the Zhuhai International Airshow of China；vigorously developing the recreation and health industry to enable the high-quality development of the Hengqin Deep Cooperation Zone；creating a living and working environment similar to that of Macao；strengthening the cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Portugal in soccer；vigorously developing leisure and sports tourism projects to help the construction of an international leisure and tourism island；striving to build Hengqin leisure and tourism island.
