This paper introduces the current situation and problems in the construction and management of domestic football field as well as the countermeasures. Although the number of football fields has greatly increased in recent years，there are still problems in the field construction and management，such as insufficient supply，uneven distribution of the fields number，simplified operation mode，low utilization efficiency，lack of security and so on. Considering these problems，the suggestions are as follows：to revitalize the stock resources and guarantee the supply of construction land；to implement the fields construction plan and promote the balanced development of football fields；to broaden the financing channels for the fields and encourage the diversified operation modes；to improve the use efficiency of the field and expand the functions of the field facilities；to strengthen the daily management of the field and improve safety of the field facilities.
