Smart city is the core carrier of building digital China，smart society and Shanghai as an international digital city. In order to give better play to the spillover effect of the China International Import Expo（CIIE）on the construction of Shanghai smart city，this report summarizes the progress and results of the informatization，digitization and intellectualization construction of the four sessions of the CIIE，and combines the effect analysis of the impact of the construction of the smart CIIE on the construction of Shanghai smart city. Then，the report puts forward more targeted and targeted countermeasures and suggestions interms of improving digital infrastructure，accelerating standard formulation，promoting application scenarios，exploring cross-border data flow，and landing on the new track of the metauniverse.
