According to the difference between the exhibition area setting of the China International Import Expo（CIIE）and the industrial classification in the traditional statistical sense，this report defines the high-tech industry as “automobile industry，intelligent and high-end equipment industry，medical equipment and medical health products industry” when discussing the impact of the CIIE on the high-tech industry. Based on the analysis of the high-tech enterprises that have participated in the CIIE for four consecutive sessions，this report believes that the CIIE has played a significant role in stimulating the high-tech enterprises from several aspects，such as “leading the technological development trend of the industry，promoting the global technology debut，the first exhibition of Chinese technology，including foreign technology to China，guiding the cooperation between leading enterprises，and driving the improvement of regional technology level”，which correspondingly promotes the upgrading of the technological level of China’s high-tech industry.
