as an international economic cooperation and exchange platform for China’s initiative to open up to the outside world，the China International Import Expo（CIIE）is an important manifestation of China’s active commitment to international responsibilities in foreign economic and trade activities. It has effectively promoted the cooperation of countries in the world in the economic and trade field，raised the level of global trade growth，and made contributions to promoting the construction of an open world economy. Based on the implementation of the commitment of “getting better”，this report analyzes the overall situation of the fourth CIIE and explains the positive role played by in the process of building an open world economy from four aspects：expanding opening-up，activating the world economy，expanding imports，attracting foreign capital to share China’s market opportunities and reform dividends. Therefore，it is beneficial to provide reference for further enhancing the influence of the CIIE.
