<<The report takes the research of 28 cultural and media year books published in 2021 as the research object, and analyzes in depth the basic scale of publication, the distribution of research and creation teams, and the standardization. There was a drop in the total number and continuity of published series, but the quality has improved. In terms of research and creation, university think tanks account for the largest proportion, while media think tanks are not involved;in terms of evaluation results,an olive-shaped distribution of subjectivity scores is found, but a pyramid-shaped distribution of objectivity scores. Using the abstracts and keywords of 28 year books as the dataset, this report extracts the theme distribution of year books in culture and media category in 2021 by unsupervised LDA theme modeling method, including four themes of Internet industry and epidemic, cultural construction and rural revitalization, new business of digital economy, and think tanks and media practice. Through the social network analysis method,we discovered the distribution relationship of topic words, and found the distinctive focus of “high quality development of the book”,which closely follows the overall trend of the book in these two years. Finally,in order to deepen the grasp of research and creation trends,we propose trends from three perspectives:the common destiny of mankind, the rich connotation of the new era,and the technological reflection that everything is media,in order to deepen the grasp of research and creation trends, and to strengthen the international perspective and local sentiment to promote the formation of more significant research results in cultural and media books.
