Xiaomi Technology Co.,Ltd. is a consumer electronics and smart manufacturing company centered on smartphones,smart hardware and IoT platforms,and occupies a key position in the global smartphones industry. This report takes Xiaomi as the research object. First,it sorts out its domestic and foreign development history and the status quo of its internationalization;secondly,it focuses on the analysis of the motives of Xiaomi’s international development and the key factors of internationalization;finally,for the difficulties encountered in Xiaomi’s international development,it provides some perspectives and suggestions. The study found that Xiaomi’s internal strategic positioning for internationalization and the guidance of its founding team are the key drivers of Xiaomi’s international development;the driving force of domestic and foreign market environments and the support of macro national policies provide good opportunities for Xiaomi’s international development;diversified overseas environments accurate grasp of production,innovation of talent management model,localization of supply chain and proper response to international conflicts are the key factors for Xiaomi’s international development to achieve today’s achievements.
