As an important economic center in southwest China，the cultural industries of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone connects the industrial markets all over southwest China. As the added value of the cultural industry increases year by year，chengdu and Chongqing，the two leading cities，play a significant radiating role to the surrounding cities，and the overall quality of the cultural industry in the region keeps improving. In October 2020，the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held a meeting to review the Outline of the Construction Plan of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle. The meeting called for highlighting the synergic driving role of chongqing and Chengdu to make the Chengdu-Chongqing region an important economic center with national influence，a center of scientific and technological innovation，a new highland of reform and opening up，and a livable place for high-quality living，so as to create an important growth pole and a new driving force for high-quality development across the country. With the support of national policies，the cultural industry in Chengdu-Chongqing economic Belt is about to face new changes and challenges，but the overall situation is still developing in the direction of transformation and upgrading，structural renewal and innovation.
