The basic framework of China’s elderly health service system has been established，but it lags behind developed countries in terms of perfection of laws and regulations，system integration，standardization of specific measures and supervision. From the experience of developed countries，the key points to accelerating the construction of my country’s elderly health service system are as follows：speeding up the promotion of social welfare for the elderly；formulating detailed implementation rules and improve the supervision mechanism based on the actual needs of the elderly；Establishing the concept of active aging in the whole society and delaying the retirement age and canceling the retirement difference between men and women；Giving full play to the latecomer advantage of population aging relatively lagging behind.
