This report summarized China’s overall data security governance posture in 2021. It compiled aggregate information to comprehensively analyze the current situation and urgent tasks of China’s data security governance，then put forward some recommendations based on research to boost China’s data security protection system，aiming to provide data reference for relevant regulatory authorities，provide information support for corporate compliance and security protection，and provide material support for data security publicity and awareness training to the public.
