Constructing a new electric power system is a major decision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee，which points out the direction of development and provides fundamental guidelines for the development of energy and electricity in the new era. In recent years，Lankao has seized the opportunity of the only rural energy revolution pilot in China，explored the new path of county energy transformation，built Lankao energy Internet platform，promoted the leapfrog development of electric power system，and built a solid foundation for Lankao to build a new electric power system county demonstration area on an early and pilot basis. This paper sorts out the relevant policies of new power system construction，summarizes the essential connotation of new power system，analyzes the development basis and challenges faced by Lankao in building new power system，puts forward the implementation path and countermeasure suggestions for building new power system in Lankao，and fully supports Lankao to build a model demonstration of new power system in the county and build a national rural energy revolution pilot “upgraded version”.
