Hydrogen energy is a kind of secondary energy with rich source，green and low-carbon，and wide application，which has gradually become one of the important carriers of global energy transition development. The high-quality development of hydrogen energy industry is of great significance to help Henan Province accelerate energy transformation，build a clean，low-carbon，safe and efficient energy system，and successfully achieve the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutral”. The hydrogen energy industry in Henan Province has started early，the top-level planning and strategic layout are basically formed，the advantages of hydrogen source and resource conditions are remarkable，and the hydrogen fuel industry has taken shape，so it has a certain foundation for development. This paper analyzes the problems faced by the development of Henan hydrogen energy industry based on a systematic review of the current situation of the development of hydrogen energy industry at home and abroad and in Henan Province，and puts forward targeted development suggestions such as strengthening core technological innovation，strengthening industrial layout and synergy，strengthening scale development and strengthening risk control，in order to provide scientific suggestions for the relevant industries in Henan Province to realize high-quality development in the current important window period.
