Green finance plays a vital role in boosting green economy，transforming development mode and fostering new growth drivers. Pudong announced to vigorously improve the level of green financial services，further promote the construction of Shanghai international financial center core area，and issued specific strategic goals and implementation measures. In view of this，this paper will systematically evaluate the current development level of green finance in Pudong from five aspects，including Green credit scale，green bond issuance，green investment funds，green insurance market and carbon financial trading. And we find that there are some problems，such as low overall scale，incomplete market system and few innovative products etc.. Then，we develop the advanced practice of green finance in some countries，such as the United States，the United Kingdom，Japan，the European Union and other countries and international organizations. Finally，we put forward to promote green finance policy suggestions on the development of high quality，such as the policy system，product system，intermediary services，risk prevention and international cooperation. We hope to provide more replicable and scalable demonstration experience for Pudong，which is helpful to accelerate the comprehensive green transformation of economic and promote the construction of ecological civilization’s development. Pudong will better play as the pioneers of reform and opening up，and provide the positive function of modern socialist country construction.
