The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games is a landmark event held by China under the influence of a century of changes and the pandemic. The holding of the Winter Olympic Games is of great significance to the realization of China’s dream of becoming a sports power. This report reviewed the major achievements and value of the times the Beijing Winter Olympic Games made in the new development stage，further defined the goals of sports power in the development of China’s ice and snow sports，and finally established the strategic orientations of the development of China’s ice and snow sports in the post-Games period. First of all，the report revealed the great achievements and values achieved by holding the Beijing Winter Olympics，including promoting the competitive strength of ice and snow sports in China，making new breakthroughs in the number of ice and snow sports participants，gaining new growth in the ice and snow industry，and finding new driving forces for regional social development. Secondly，the report analyzed the important role of the leapfrog development of ice and snow sports in building China a sports power. It involved the deep integration of winter fitness and health，the balanced development of winter sports and summer sports，the improvement of regional competitive strength of ice and snow economy，the promotion of the outstanding spirit in ice and snow sports，and the expansion of ice and snow sports diplomacy breadth.
