At the beginning of 2021，the Communist Party of Vietnam held the landmark 13^th National Congress，elected the 13^th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam，formulated the mid-and long-term development plan，determined the goal of the centennial anniversary of the founding of the Party in 2025，2030 and the centennial anniversary of the founding of the state in 2045. In the face of the global epidemic，Vietnam has maintained sustained and stable economic and social development while focusing on both epidemic prevention and control and economic recovery. However，it still faces many uncertainties. Following the communist Party of Vietnam’s 13th National Congress，Vietnam adhered to an independent foreign policy，actively carried out multilateral and bilateral diplomacy and made new progress.
