Shunde，which ranks first among the top 100 districts across China for many years，boasts a large number of advanced manufacturing enterprises like Midea and Galanz. Yet，the existence of some backward and heavily-polluted village-level industrial parks has grossly impeded the pace of industrial transformation and upgrading in Shunde. Over the past four years，Shunde has launched “village reform”，taking the initiative to change from top to bottom，leading the upgrading and governance improvement of village-level industrial parks，and guiding some extremely backward village-level industrial parks to achieve a nirvana. Now，the village-level industrial park is full of vigor and vitality in the new era.
