In the face of great changes in the economic and financial environment at home and abroad，the scale of Fengxian’s foreign trade in 2021 exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time in history. In the first eight months of 2022，the total value of Fengxian’s import and export was 83.11 billion yuan，up 16.7% year on year，which effectively overcame the adverse impact brought by the new round of epidemic in Shanghai. The export value was 45.80 billion yuan，up 15.4% year on year，and the import value was 37.31 billion yuan，up 18.3% year on year. Fengxian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone fully supported high-quality economic development and epidemic prevention and control，cross-border e-commerce accelerated development，and brand influence was greatly improved. In the first nine months of 2022，the contracted amount of FDI in Fengxian was $900 million，down 23.1% year on year，and the actual amount in place was $264 million，down 4.4% year on year. The potential of attracting foreign investment and implementing foreign investment need to be further tapped，and the proportion of foreign investment in regional GDP needs to be focused on. In general，under the background of declining global potential growth rate，Fengxian must seize the opportunities of new areas and strive to enhance the comprehensive strength of foreign economy.
