From 2021 to 2022，Fengxian’s agricultural structure will continue to be optimized and improved，especially the rapid development of the service industry of agriculture，forestry，animal husbandry and fishery，which will lay the foundation for its high-quality agricultural development. In terms of rural revitalization，the “two million” project has been fully promoted with remarkable results. Urban modern green agriculture has also developed steadily. The new rice variety “Meigu No.2” has achieved a bumper harvest，and local agricultural products such as “Fengxian Yellow Peach” have risen strongly. In addition，Fengxian was awarded “China’s Most Ecologically Competitive City” in the construction of ecologically livable and beautiful countryside. However，Fengxian’s agricultural energy level is not compatible with Shanghai’s global city positioning，and the characteristics of surrounding districts and counties are not very obvious. In the future，Fengxian needs to promote the high-quality development of Fengxian agriculture by focusing on urban agriculture，digital agriculture，and headquarters agriculture on the basis of maintaining the basic red line of arable land.
