In the second half of media integration，the context has become an important starting point for the construction and development of county-level convergence media，providing a new path for the deep integration and development of county-level convergence media. Based on the context theory，this paper uses AHP，Delphi method and concept extraction method to construct an evaluation index system for the context application ability of county-level convergence media clients，and selects 128 cases to empirically analyze the context application status of county-level media clients，the study found that the sample cases are relatively weak in terms of context adaptation，context service，context interaction，and context connection. In the future，the county-level convergence media client can further improve the context application ability by providing localized services，producing interactive scenes，applying context-based technologies，and building localized communities.
