To apply the Outline of the National Plan for Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development（2010-2020），Education Supervision Regulation，Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Education Evaluation in the New Era，and the Opinions on Deepening Reform of the Institutional Mechanisms for Educational Supervision in the New Era in a full way，based on the actual situation，Shaanxi has carried out the “School Supervision and Evaluation Project 316” since 2009. Three rounds of the Project have been carried forward so far，and the fourth round will be organized this year. With 12-year experience of school supervision and evaluation，Shaanxi achieved full coverage of inspection，built coordinated mechanism，promoted schools to improve，created a closed-loop inspection process，and made the inspection results as incentives. Shaanxi further implemented the duties of government，improved the school facilities，facilitated the development of county-level inspection offices，built a skilled workforce，reformed school operation，advanced quality-oriented education，and enhanced education quality. With the emergence of a large number of excellent schools，principals and head of kindergartens at the provincial and municipal levels，Shaanxi promoted the overall development of students. The inspection department of Shaanxi fulfilled the role of the “sharp tool” to improve education and to enhance people’s satisfaction.
