Beijing attaches great importance to education inspection and evaluation of the performance of lower-level governments and related departments. Under the guidance of “focusing on problems，highlighting key points，promoting overall planning and strengthening rectification”，Bejing took the lead in introducing a work plan for inspecting and evaluating the performance of district-level governments and relevant departments of municipality in the education related work，building an index system，and creatively carrying out comprehensive oversight covering all district authorities. Through the follow-up inspection，Beijing further improved the mechanism for comprehensive oversight over policy implementation，improved the process of oversight over policy implementation，and facilitated the district governments to fulfill responsibilities.
