Public technology service platform is of great significance to solve common technical problems of enterprises and reduce innovation costs of enterprises. This paper takes the construction of the public technology service platform in Pudong New Area as the main research object. It is found that the public technology service platform in Pudong New Area mainly focuses on the three major industrial fields of biomedicine，integrated circuit and information technology. The operation of platforms in different fields is different，and the proportion of self built public technology service platforms for incubation carriers is still low. The main reasons for this are the large scale of investment in the early stage of the platform，the high requirements for platform operation professionalism，the difficulty in establishing an operation team，and the high cost. In addition，among the built platforms，it is difficult to update equipment，and the supply and demand mismatch is also very prominent. Based on the in-depth analysis of the above problems and their causes，this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.
