In 2020，the COVID-19 Pandemic has heavy impact on the FDI in the world. The performance of the western Asian countries is better than the global average level，showing the strong attractiveness of these countries. Israel，UAE，Saudi Arab and Turkey are outstanding among all western Asian countries in attracting FDI. While UAE is the most attractive country for Chinese investors. They invested in wide range from the traditional to the emerging areas. The investors in the western Asian countries also want to grasp the opportunities of Chinese market and invest. As the impact of the pandemic will still last，to promote the bilateral investment of Chinese and Western countries，the negotiation between the Gulf Cooperation Committee（GCC）and China should be resumed to provide a stable and better mechanism for the economic cooperation，and both sides should create better environment for the companies to enhance the cooperation in the green economy and digital economy.
