In the context of the comprehensive implementation of the rural revitalization strategy，the phenomenon of rural youth returning to their hometowns is increasing，which has attracted a lot of attention from the community. Taking “sense of gain” as the logical starting point，this paper uses quantitative and qualitative research methods，to explore the willingness and motivation of returning employed youth to return home，as well as their development status and sense of gain after returning to their hometown；Revealing the problems and confusions faced by returning employed youth in the context of rural revitalization，starting from the low sense of gain，providing feasible measures and suggestions for attracting young people to return to their hometowns for employment and retaining them，so as to comprehensively enhance the sense of gain of returning employed youth，and make the youth become the “accelerator” of rural revitalization，and let the village become the hometown of youth returning to their hometown for employment and the “incubator” for returning home to start a business.
