according to exploring the relationship between social competence and social integration of new migrant workers in the process of urbanization，it is found that the social competence of this group is good，and it showing a development trajectory of “knowledge，trust and practice” and the trend from self-cognition to mutual construction with society. At the same time，there are also some problems，such as the development process of social competence is not synchronized，and the social integration capital is weak. Therefore，we suggest that the authorities should introduce special policies which benefit for new migrant workers，accelerate the construction of social support system，promote the national vocational education system reform，intensify social skills education and training，and encourage new migrant workers to play their own role in the process of social integration.
