Under the epidemic background in 2020，China upholds the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind，actively participates in global environmental governance，and has jointly responded to unprecedented challenges with other countries. China is forming its own pattern of environmental law，from passively responding to environmental problems，towards an actively leading consciousness. In terms of basic theory study，scholars have an in-depth thinking about environmental rule of law in the context of the epidemic. For other environmental issues of global concern，such as biodiversity conservation，marine environmental governance，international waste control，response to climate change and so on，China provides solutions with Oriental wisdom. All of these could provide a useful reference for the international environmental rule of law.
