After the outbreak of COVID-19,large international multinational Cruise Shipping groups have been hit hard,and a large number of cruise ships in operation have been sold at a discount or dismantled. Many central enterprises involved in the sea in China,such as China Shipping Group,China Merchants Group,China Tourism Group,COSCO Shipping Group and China Communications Construction Group,take this opportunity to increase the layout of the cruise industry,build a local cruise fleet and expand the layout of cruise ports. However,most Chinese cruise enterprises use their own funds or finance leases to purchase ships. Although they have absolute operational control,they also face significant defects such as lack of experience and high market risk. Local cruise brands are weaker than international cruise companies in cruise operation management and marketing strategies. In order to launch a rapid response in time after the epidemic,and fully compete with international transnational cruise enterprises in a larger international space and time pattern,according to the requirements of the 14th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of Vision Goals for 2035 and the 14th Five Year Cultural and Tourism Development Plan of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the cruise industry China Merchants cruise and Sanya International Cruise and other local cruise enterprises investigated the development status and bottlenecks faced by local cruise enterprises under the COVID-19 epidemic,and analyzed the external environment,development status and difficulties faced by domestic cruise Enterprises.
