2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China，and it is a year of special significance for China to enter a new era and a new journey. Despite the overlapping of centennial changes and the widespread of epidemics，China’s education reform has still achieved substantial development around the consolidation and improvement of reform effects，deepening the implementation of policies，and innovation and breakthrough of new measures. And the popularization of education at all levels has reached or exceeded the average level of high-income countries. The new strategic task of China’s education reform at present and in the future is to build a high-quality education system，promote high-quality preschool education，enhance the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education，accelerate the diversified development of ordinary high schools，and develop vocational education with innovative policies that meet the needs of new technology and industrial reform to support the national strategy. We will comprehensively promote the revitalization of rural education and the work of education in rural areas.
