Based on the data of the four national population censuses from 1990 to 2020，this report uses quantitative analysis and comparative method to analyze the number growth and regional distribution，gender and age structure，educational quality，marriage and fertility，and the characteristics of population migration and mobility of youth in Guangzhou in 2020，as well as the new characteristics of development and change of youth in the 30 years from 1990 to 2020，especially the 10 years from 2010 to 2020. Aimed at the problems including gender ratio of youth population development increase is unusually higher，the unmarried status among older young people especially young men is unfavorably common，and the fertility level of young urban women is low，etc.，the report puts forward of four measures to realize long-term equilibrium and sustainable high-quality development of youth population：strengthening the protection of the rights and interests of women，and supervising，monitoring，guiding and adjusting the change of area ratio；speeding up the development of a new culture of marriageability and child-bearing among young people；encouraging the development of maternity service industries and family maternal and child care；carrying out mid-and long-term forecast and planning research on youth population development in Guangzhou.
