The digital transformation of China’s manufacturing industry has entered a period of accelerated development of innovative breakthroughs，in-depth penetration，and diffusion applications. Manufacturing production methods and enterprise forms are undergoing accelerated changes and reconstructions，and new models and formats of enterprise digital transformation and development continue to emerge. Under this background，building the evaluation system for digital transformation in the manufacturing industry is of great significance for unifying the understanding of digital transformation from all walks of life，gathering consensus on the value and significance of digital transformation in the manufacturing industry，and guiding enterprises to integrate digitalization into all aspects of production management activities. Based on corporate practice，industrial practice and government practice，this paper forms the complete architecture and methodology of digital transformation evaluation，from the perspective of the top-level design，the industrial transformation path，and the enterprises’ innovation model. The above research results will provide the theoretical guidance and reference of path and model for all circles to jointly promote the digital transformation of manufacturing industry.
