This paper discusses the active exploration of Beijing sub-center in the field of low-carbon sustainable development，and summarizes the role of Beijing sub-center in low-carbon responsibilities taking，the Grand Canal development，green and low-carbon industries building，and green development demonstrations. At the same time，the research compares the experience of low-carbon city construction at home and abroad，and quantitatively analyzes the energy consumption and emissions of urban sub-centers from three perspectives：energy consumption，power consumption by field and the current status of landscaping. Based on this，the study puts forward future development paths and policy recommendations，focusing on areas such as continuing to promote carbon footprint tracking in different fields，building zero-carbon parks，and building a green grassroots governance system.
