Antipyretic and analgesic drugs have now become one of the most widely used and the most used bulk medicines in the global pharmaceutical market，and they are also commonly used drugs that are indispensable in people’s daily lives. China has been producing antipyretic and analgesic drugs for more than 80 years. Especially since the reform and opening up，the production and sales of antipyretic and analgesic drugs in China have maintained a rapid growth trend，and China has become the most important production and export base of antipyretic and analgesic drugs in the world，occupying a pivotal position in the international market. This paper analyzes some new situations and problems to be solved by the antipyretic and analgesic industry in China，and proposes that enterprises should make further efforts in improving technical levels，adjusting and optimizing structures，strengthening environmental protection，and creating branded products，in order to accelerate the transformation from a major manufacturing country of antipyretic and analgesic drugs to a strong manufacturing country.
