China’s innovative drugs have entered a period of vigorous development，but “difficulty in entering the hospital” has always been an obstacle to the availability of innovative drugs，affecting patients’ timely medication. This paper analyzes the reasons for this phenomenon，and puts forward targeted suggestions from the levels of top-level design，medical institution management，diversified payment，etc.，in order to improve the efficiency of admission of innovative drugs by medical institutions in China，so that patients can truly enjoy the benefits of innovative drugs’ access into the national basic medical insurance catalogue.
