Inhalation is a kind of preparation that realizes the delivery of drugs in the body by breathing. It has the characteristics of small dosage，quick onset，and portability. It has been recognized by the majority of healthcare professionals and patients in China. This paper describes the development of China’s inhalation industry by reviewing the replacement of inhaled aerosol with freon propellant and the consistency evaluation of generic drugs. It also analyzes the development of China’s inhalation industry，explains the constraints on the development of China’s inhalation industry，and predicts the future development direction.
