This paper reviews key events in China’s healthcare sector in 2020，and lists the ten key words affecting the development of the healthcare sector：the COVID-19 epidemic，medical insurance reform，DRG/DIP，centralized procurement and national negotiations，medical reform，medicine reform，traditional Chinese medicine，digital health，commercial health insurance，capital market reform. Based on the above-mentioned analysis，this paper summarizes several important changes and development trends in healthcare，namely，scale effect，differentiated innovation and consumption upgrades. These changes will lead to the rapid and continuous differentiation in the industry’s competitive landscape.
