Shenzhen’s domestic garbage classification has been launched since 2000. In 2019，with the promulgation of the “Shenzhen Municipal Regulations on the Classification and Management of Domestic Waste”，Shenzhen’s domestic garbage classification work has entered a full implementation stage. This study designed the Shenzhen Domestic Waste Classification Index System and the Citizen Questionnaire，and examined the actual promotion of domestic waste classification in Shenzhen from the dimensions of hardware facilities，management measures，actual classification，and citizens’ attitudes，awareness and satisfaction.
