2021 is the first year for Shenzhen to realize the first stage development goal of building a leading demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics on the basis of building a well-off society with high quality and in an all-round way. The scale of lawyers in Shenzhen has maintained a rapid growth momentum，the scale of law firms has increased steadily，lawyers have increasingly participated in the construction of the rule of law in Shenzhen，and policy support for the development of the lawyer industry has also increased. However，the development of Shenzhen’s lawyer industry has both advantages and difficulties，there are both opportunities and challenges. We should promote the reform and innovation of Shenzhen’s lawyer industry from a higher starting point，at a higher level and with a higher goal，comprehensively enhance the brand of Shenzhen’s lawyers，and start a new journey for the development of Shenzhen’s lawyer industry during “The 14^th Five-Year Plan”.
