This report starts from the current situation of the protection of trade secrets in Shenzhen，based on the local standards （DB） in Shenzhen，and discusses the content that needs further improvement regarding the standardized protection of trade secrets，including：clarifying the specific scope of trade secrets，to avoid omission or improper expansion on the scope of protection；paying attention to the usage of appraisal methods in trade secret cases，to improve the admissibility of expert opinion evidence；discover and take effective measures to prevent secondary leaks of trade secrets，to avoid secondary damage.
