随着互联网信息技术的发展,我国电子卖场逐渐兴起,因数码产品市场需求激增、市场利润巨大,21世纪初在主要城市形成一系列的以大量小商户电子产品销售、维修及周边服务为主要经营业态的数码城。进入21世纪第二个十年,曾经商业氛围浓郁的“电子摊贩聚集地”——数码城受产业结构单一、重技术轻创新、产业链较短等内在因素以及利润透明化、消费网络化等外在因素的双重影响,线下零售商的生存空间日趋压缩。广州作为华南地区最大的电子产品集散地,拥有众多数码城,近年来也面临线下消费日益萎缩、亟须转型升级的巨大压力。本文基于广州数码城的发展史及相关实证数据对广州百脑汇、广州太平洋等数码城的兴衰变迁情况进行深入分析,以了解广州数码城的转型困境及衰落原因,同时结合大学生数码城消费意愿的调查分析,提出对数码城转型改造的对策建议。
<<With the development of information and communication technologies and because of the surge in demand for digital goods and huge market profits,a series of digital malls were formed in major cities at the beginning of the new century. In these digital malls,a large number of small businesses (e.g.,electronic vendors) sell electronic products and provide after-sale and other peripheral services as their main business mode. In the second decade,the digital malls are under significant pressures from both internal and external factors,and their survival space becomes increasingly compressed. Guangzhou,as the largest electronics distribution center in South China,has encountered big challenges in transforming the business model of digital malls as well. Based on the history of Guangzhou digital malls and relevant empirical materials,this article presents an in-depth analysis of the rise and fall of two digital malls (Guangzhou Buynow and Guangzhou Pacific) in order to understand the difficulties and reasons for the decline of Guangzhou digital malls. Supported with survey data about university students’ consumption intentions and habits of electronic products,the article also proposes some transformation strategies for digital malls.
