Following the PC Internet and mobile Internet era，the emergence of meta-universe has triggered the speculation of the next generation Internet era，providing a new track and opportunity for scientific and technological innovation and information technology development.The metaverse involves technologies such as 5G/6G，artificial intelligence，blockchain，cloud computing，etc.It also integrates the forward-looking layout of new generation digital technologies such as Internet of Things，VR/AR，data twin，etc.to build a new digital space where the physical world and virtual world are integrated.This paper analyzes and introduces the current status of metaverse technology in terms of its origin and development，concepts，key technologies，and challenges based on them，with the aim of providing assistance to the subsequent research related to metaverse technology.
