As the power engine of regional economic development，the main form of new urbanization and an important carrier for expanding the size of the middle-income population，urban agglomerations can play an important role in narrowing the regional gap，urban-rural gap and income gap. In the future，we should speed up solving the prominent bottleneck problems faced by the construction of urban agglomerations，and do a good job in the integrated development of urban agglomerations，optimize the spatial layout of urban agglomerations，improve the quality of urbanization，strengthen the driving force of urban-rural integration development，strengthen pilot demonstrations and urban agglomeration coordination and linkage.
