In the context of ecological civilization construction，based on multi-source open data，this paper used data envelopment analysis method to evaluate the construction land use efficiency in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2012 to 2020，and to explore the temporal and spatial pattern evolution of the construction land use efficiency. It also explores the ways to improve the efficiency of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei territorial space utilization under environmental constraints. The results show that：the comprehensive efficiency of construction land use in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is low，the scale of land use is insufficient，the difference in land use efficiency shows a trend of expansion，and the central city’s role in driving the surrounding radiation is weakened. It is suggested that under the premise of ecological environment protection，strengthen the overall layout of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei territorial space development and important strategic functional areas，and improve the efficiency of construction land use in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
