With the continuous upgrading of Internet governance，although China’s comprehensive Internet governance system has been initially established，there are still a series of prominent problems in the development of Internet platforms：The disorderly development of small，medium and micro platforms，especially user-generated content media，impacts the order of cyberspace，the flood of false information and vulgar content erodes the ecosystem of online content，and the data storage and cross-border flow of online platforms threaten national security. These problems are not only the direct impact of the development of modern communication technology on platform operation，but also the consequences of the rapid expansion of capital and the over-marketization trend of network communication. In order to cope with such practical challenges，it is imperative to conduct in-depth governance of micro，medium and small online platforms，implement platform principal responsibilities and strengthen cross-border data supervision in the future.
