The central business district（CBD）has a high concentration of population and economic factors，a scarcity of land and a high development intensity. Compared with other urban spaces，it has a higher demand for livability，safety and resilience，balancing urban development with ecological conservation is more difficult. At present，Sponge City is an advanced concept and important technical means to deal with this problem. Many CBDs in China have carried out the exploration and practice of sponge city construction. It is found that in the practice of CBD sponge city construction，there are lack of systematic planning and overall linkage，lack of sponge city construction technology adapted to the spatial characteristics of CBD，the low level of fine construction management restricts the overall utility of sponge city. Based on the spatial characteristics of CBD and the inherent characteristics of sponge city，this paper puts forward the strategies for the construction and improvement of CBD sponge city from four aspects：systematization，refinement，applicability and integration.
