As a new economic form，the digital economy has high innovation，strong penetration and wide coverage，which is not only a new economic growth point，but also a fulcrum for transforming and upgrading traditional industries，and has gradually become an important engine for building a modern economic system. This report analyzes the current situation of the digital economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region based on three aspects：digital economy infrastructure construction，digital industrialization and industrial digitalization process，and digital innovation environment，and explores the spatial pattern characteristics and constraints of digital economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei by means of σ convergence test. The study found that the relative gap in the development of new infrastructure areas in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is gradually decreasing，and the absolute gap is obvious；the degree of application and application of digital technology between regions has a large room for improvement. Subject to the differences in the development stages of the three places in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the imperfect network of urban functional groups，the “barrel effect” of technological innovation capabilities between Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cities is obvious，and the cooperation and integration of digital technology research and development need to be urgently improved. Based on this，Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region needs to accelerate the strategic layout of digital infrastructure，further broaden the depth of industrial digitalization，improve the level of digital industrialization，and create a more open and free digital development environment，which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
