By constructing a regional informatization evaluation index system，this paper measures the informatization development level of 31 provinces （autonomous regions and municipalities） from 2018 to 2020，and further compares and analyzes the differences in the development level of regional informatization，and measures the status quo of the regional digital divide in China. At the same time，based on the year-by-year change trend of regional digital divide and the analysis of key influencing factors，policy recommendations are put forward to promote the balanced development of China regional informatization and narrow the regional digital divide.
