Beidou satellite navigation system （BDS） is China’s independent and controllable spatio-temporal reference，and has been widely used in various industries since the official opening of the global system in 2020. This report first analyzes the current situation of China’s BDS industry applications in 2021，points out that traditional industries have been widely integrated with BDS under the trend of continuous development of BDS industry applications，and illustrates the industry application cases of BDS with the application in the field of urban security as an example. Secondly，we analyzed the problems and concluded that the depth of integration of BDS spatio-temporal information and new technologies should be further strengthened，and the integration of BDS + new technologies with traditional industries should be deeper and wider. In view of the next development trend，it is proposed that the integration of BDS and actual business needs will be closer and “BDS + new technology” will further trigger changes in industry applications. Finally，we suggest countermeasures for the development of BDS industry applications，suggesting the promotion of BDS priority strategy from the technical perspective and BDS integration development from the industrial perspective. By analyzing the integration mode of BDS and new technologies，we reveal the inner connection of the application development of BDS in various industries and provide reference for the development direction of traditional and emerging industries.
