The emergence and persistence of the Coronavirus Pandemic （COVID-19） has greatly changed our traditional way of life and governance，and modern science and technology have been applied to many areas，including urban and rural community governance. Beijing “Xicheng home” project has made a preliminary exploration on the fine and intelligent governance of grass-roots communities by collecting and cleaning the original data of communities，realizing the association of people and houses，training user groups，promoting content production and providing support services. This report analyzes the motivation，efforts and path that “Xicheng home” adopts in promoting fine and intelligent governance，and puts forward some thoughts on the wide application of modern science and technology in coordinating epidemic prevention and control and grass-roots governance from the perspectives of overall government，sections and blocks combination and scene design.
