Taking 106 travel-related social security incidents in 2021 as samples，the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of travel-related social security incidents were analyzed，and the inducing causes of travel-related social security incidents were systematically analyzed from four aspects：facility and equipment risk factors，management risk factors，personnel risk factors and environmental risk factors. It is of great significance to strengthen the governance of travel-related social security risks. The study found that the types of travel-related social security incidents in 2021 are diverse，with spatial-temporal distribution characteristics，making it more difficult to prevent and control safety incidents. The number of incidents has increased，and the difficulty of security control remains complex and severe；Public opinion spread rapidly，social concern continues to heat up；the relationship of responsibility and power still needs to be improved，and the coordinated division of labor still needs to be promoted. Looking forward to 2022，the management of travel-related social safety incidents in China should be safety awareness oriented，and the pre-prevention work should be improved. Take system construction as the guarantee，unite the public to build together；Take information management as the starting point to create the post-event recovery mechanism.
